The daily life of a self made café owner, Tamar, is interrupted when Alya, her high school friend, who she hasn't seen in ten years walks in to her café; Tamar is ecstatic and speaks with Alya about how life has changed, she sees Alya has been joined by her fiancé, a South Asian man, this takes Tamar back to where they left off. Tamar narrates the story to her friends of how she met Alya, healing some past wounds that she hid from everyone for so many years.
